In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that being part of a Christian community means caring enough about one another to speak the truth, forgive, and seek reconciliation. When there is hurt or disagreement, our first response should not be anger, gossip, or division, but a sincere effort to heal the relationship.
Jesus also gives us a beautiful promise: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” We do not have to agree on everything to be united in Christ. When we gather with humility, listen to one another, and seek what is best rather than simply getting our own way, Christ is present among us.
Perhaps the challenge today is simple: Who is someone I need to forgive, someone I need to talk to, or someone I need to reach out to? Jesus calls us to be people who build bridges rather than walls.
And whenever we come together in His name—with open hearts and a desire for peace—we can trust that Christ is there, guiding us toward reconciliation and unity.

What a GREAT time at the Wonderful Wea party this past Friday. Thanks to Becky Schaid for her inspiration and work putting it together as well as everyone who helped, including the Knights for preparing the sliders.
We’ll do it again next year!
CFM IS GROWING AT WEA!!
We are excited to have a number of Christian Family Movement groups at Wea. We get together to talk about issues relating to our own lives in a setting that is faith based and casual. Getting to know people and finding out how we all often share the same hopes and ideals and use those to support each other and make our own world a better place is what CFM is all about. If you are interested in learning more, contact Deacon Tom and Kathy Rothermich, (636) 448-9979 or krotherm@gmail.com. Stop and learn more at the Wea Ministry Fair on September 26-27.
